BOCA RATON, Florida. (CBS12) — Just in time for Memorial Day weekend, a new facility in Boca Raton is now offering unique treatment options for veterans struggling with pain, addiction, PTSD and isolation.
Grey Team nonprofit is offering new treatment options like light therapy machines and infrared saunas to discourage the use of prescription painkillers.
Cary Reichbach, the co-founder of the nonprofit, created the treatment center and gym so that vets would have a place to go after combat to ease their transition. Reichbach says that the stress of military life can be intense and it’s not uncommon for people to turn to painkillers, both in the service and back at home.
On Memorial Day May 25, 2020 at 3:00 pm EST, Grey Team will host its a veteran only get meet the South Florida staff, enjoy complimentary food/drinks/beer, and all of the Grey Team hi-tech wellness therapies, including the brand new fitness facility, Low-Level LASER bed, Infrared Sauna, Safe Space, and more.
